Integrity Staffing has an exciting opportunity for a Yacht Cabinetry tradesman in Savannah, Georgia!Participate in the development and complete the fabrication and installation of wood and other fine furnishings in yacht interiors. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Interpret and understand drawings and blueprints for joinery fabrication.
Confer with shop foreman to assist in developing guidelines and quotations for joinery labor and materials
Setup, safely operate and maintain woodworker hand and power tools
Lay out, cut, shape, mold and assemble components using wood, wood substitutes and other materials
Finish sand and apply veneer, stain, polish or laminates to surfaces
Fit and install components in coordination with other trades.
Program and Operate CNC Machine
Identify and develop approaches to improving company productivity
Assist in maintaining inventory of equipment, supplies and materials.
Provide supervisor with job status and recommendations to improve quality and efficiency.
Perform other tasks and work as directed by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
3 years directly applicable experience.
Language Skills:
Ability to read, understand and utilize engineering documentation.
Mathematical Skills:
Working knowledge of basic calculations, fractions and geometry.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to interpret instructions and solve basic problems, presented in written, oral or scheduled form.
Physical Demands:
Operate industrial equipment. Move material up to 75 lbs
