We have an exciting opportunity for a Welder position in Virginia Beach Virginia!
Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of industrial MIG welding experience
- High school diploma or equivalent; welding/technical training preferred.
- Proficiency in MIG welding; additional welding experience is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in various positions for extended periods.
- Ability to visually inspect welds and accurately read blueprints.
Job Duties entail but are not limited to:
- Weld steel components using MIG welding techniques.
- Cut, grind, and shape metal according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
- Assemble welded components into complete sign structures.
- Grind, polish, and clean welds for proper finish.
- Inspect welds for strength, accuracy, and appearance.
- Ensure work meets company and customer quality standards.
- Maintain welding equipment and perform routine maintenance.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
Schedule:
- Monday-Thursday: 6:30am-5:30pm
- Friday: 6:30am-3:30pm
- Must be flexible to work Saturdays as needed
Pay:
- $18-$25/hour based on experience
