We are currently seeking experienced Structural Welders for full-time positions supporting ship repair and marine projects throughout the Hampton Roads area.
Responsibilities:
- Perform structural welding in support of ship repair and fabrication projects.
- Perform SMAW and/or FCAW welding in multiple positions.
- Read and follow welding procedures, work instructions, and applicable drawings.
- Complete welds to required quality and production standards.
- Perform work safely in accordance with shipyard and jobsite requirements.
- Work in various shipboard and shipyard environments as required.
Qualifications:
- Must have previous shipyard or marine welding experience
- Must be proficient in SMAW and FCAW welding.
- Must be able to pass the applicable weld test based on the position and project requirements.
- First Class candidates should be capable of passing structural butt weld tests in multiple positions.
- Must be able to obtain access to Hampton Roads-area shipyards and naval facilities
Pay:
$30.00–$32.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
Schedule:
- Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Night Shift:
- Monday–Thursday: 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM
- Friday & Saturday: 3:30 PM – 11:00 PM
