Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Structural Welder position in Newport News, VA with one of our Clients in the Ship Repair Industry.
 
Qualifications:
  • 3-4 years of Structural Welding experience 
  • Must be able to pass the Mig pulse test 
  • Copper nickel experience
  • SMAW, GMAW, FCAW GMAW-P experience
  • Must be able to weld in all 3 positions (horizontal, overhead, and vertical)
  • Heating-Oxygen/propane heating torch
  • Air Carbon Arc Gouging 
  • Fillet and butt welds
  • Can work in confined spaces and heights
Hours:
  • 1st Shift-7am-3:30pm
  • 2nd Shift-3:30pm-12:00Am
  • 3rd Shift- 10:00pm-6:00am
  • Must be open to all shifts
Pay:
  • $45 Hr
  • $135 Per diem if you qualify
