We have an exciting new opportunity for a Parts Counter Sales Associate in Newport News!
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of parts counter and/or mechanical experience preferred
- Must have technical and mechanical aptitude familiarity with equipment parts
- Must be able to lift, carry, and maneuver items up to 40 lbs.
- Must have High School education or equivalent
- Experience in the heavy equipment industry is highly preferred
- Ability to multitask and assist multiple customers at once
- Strong computer proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new business systems
Job Duties entail but are not limited to:
- Assist customers with identifying and selecting the correct parts to meet their needs
- Provide technicians with necessary parts in a timely and accurate manner
- Look up parts using the company’s business system and reference materials
- Process and record parts counter sales transactions
- Maintain, organize, and restock merchandise displays and warehouse inventory
- Participate in ongoing job-related training to stay current with product knowledge and systems
- Maintain a clean, organized, and customer-friendly counter area
Schedule:
Pay:
- $55,000-60,000 annual salary based on experience
