We have an exciting opportunity for an Advanced Shipfitter position in Newport News, VA with one of our Clients in the Ship Repair Industry.
Qualifications
- Multi Pass tack welding
- Must be able to Stick weld, 12 inch stick weld
- Must be able to pass hair follicle drug test
- Burning Oxygen/Propane burning torch
- Heating Oxygen/propane hating Torch
- Blueprint readings
- Comprehend fractional dimensions
- Air Carbon arc Gouging
- Grinder and needle gun
- Ability to comprehend complex structural assembly drawings, and sketches to include symbols, material type, datum and reference lines
Hours:
- 1st Shift-7am-3:30pm
- 2nd Shift-3:30pm-12:00Am
- 3rd Shift- 10:00pm-6:00am
- Must be open to all shifts
Pay:
- $45 Hr
- $135 Per diem if you qualify
