Job Description:
The Electrical and AV Systems Technician is responsible for the installation, programming, testing, troubleshooting and maintenance of the AV, Network and Electrical Systems during the production and service of all Coach units. This position requires regular hands-on work running cable, connecting components and performing quality control testing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Installation of A/V, Network, and Electrical Systems, to include running wiring
- Loading of programming of coach control system software on coaches
- QC testing of the coach AV controls
- Updating of AV components
- Trouble-shooting of AV issues
- Identifying and updating programming of the coach control systems
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Proven knowledge of luxury motorhomes and the operations of their electrical and AV equipment acquired from hands on experience
- Formal training of automation systems from AMX, Spyder, RTI, Crestron preferred
- Formal training in networking preferred
- 1-3 Years of experience implementing new AV and electrical automation systems
- Knowledge of network and canbus systems
- Knowledge of home automation systems
Equipment Used:
- Standard office equipment; computer, printer, fax, multi-line phone
- Wire cutters
- Wire strippers
- Data and coax crimpers and strippers
- Electrical meters
- Basic test equipment
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to manually move, lift, carry, pull or push objects weighing up to 50lbs.
- Ability to work within small spaces; coach underbays, behind cabinetry
- Repetitive use of arms, hands and fingers.
- Prolonged stooping, kneeling, walking and standing.
- Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to ascend/descend, work atop and use stairs/ladders
- Ability to work in enclosed/tight spaces, and on secured motorhome roofs at various heights.

- Audio Visual: 1-3 years (Required)

Schedule:
- 10-hour shift
- Monday- Thursday 7am-5:30pm with possible OT on Fridays
- Ability to travel – up to 5%
