Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a local Diesel Shafting Mechanic in Norfolk, VA with one of our Clients in the Ship Repair Industry.

Qualifications

Read tech manuals and drawings
Assist in job from start to finish via work specification and EPCP/PCP/CWP
Complete a JSA and identify all safety issues
replace, repair and test diesel engine components
Troubleshoot cooling systems and report discrepancies
Execute a specification item with little supervision
Write an Intershop Work Request that contains all requested work in detail
Execute all EPCP/PCP work
Set valve lash
Shafting experience
Knowledge of WAF’s

Hours:

Monday – Friday 630AM – 330PM

Pay:

Up to $25.00/hour
