We have an excellent opportunity for a Quality Supervisor in Martinsburg, WV with a local manufacturing company.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate’s degree in Food science, Quality, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
- 3–5 years of Quality Assurance experience in manufacturing required; food manufacturing or other regulated manufacturing experience preferred.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of SQF, GMP, HACCP, food safety, and quality systems.
- SQF Practitioner Certification required.
- HACCP Certification required or ability to obtain after hire.
- Internal Auditor or ISO experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and quality documentation systems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise and support the Quality team to ensure products meet company, customer, and regulatory standards.
- Maintain compliance with SQF, GMP, HACCP, and all food safety and quality programs.
- Conduct routine quality inspections, GMP audits, and internal process audits.
- Assist with customer, regulatory, and third-party audits, including corrective actions.
- Train, coach, and develop Quality employees while assisting with new hire orientation and onboarding.
- Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports and documentation.
- Investigate quality concerns and assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Verify equipment calibration and maintain accurate quality records.
- Coordinate staffing coverage and work closely with Production, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Safety departments.
- Support the Quality Manager with certifications, projects, continuous improvement initiatives, and other departmental needs.
- WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Manufacturing facility with exposure to noise and varying temperatures.
- Required to wear all company-issued PPE.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Must be able to climb stairs and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
- Occasional overtime may be required during audits, projects, or peak production periods.

- Monday – Friday: 5:00 AM – 2:00 PM
