We have an exciting new opportunity for a Quality Control Inspector in Newport News!
Qualifications:
- Must have a Valid driver’s license.
- Must have a forklift certification
- Must have High school diploma or GED.
- Must have relevant Quality Control experience
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical warehouse tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team.
Job Duties entail but are not limited to:
- Read drawings and interpret the quality expectations for the product.
- Perform dimensional and visual inspections and document inspections using approved procedures
- Operate prevision metrology equipment
- Communicate dimensional results and articulate changes required in production to meet drawing expectations
- Identify, document and process non-conforming parts using approved procedures
- Perform receipt inspection and documentation for raw materials
- Mark bearing components per the drawing specification utilizing the Telesis Pin Stamp machine
- Perform all other duties as assigned by the Quality Assurance Manager
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm
- Must be flexible to work OT
