We have an exciting opportunity for a Pump Machinist position in Chesapeake Virginia in a CLIMATE CONTROLLED SHOP!
Job Duties entail but are not limited to:
- Manufacture and make repairs per instructions and/or drawings.
- Operate all machine shop equipment.
- Operate overhead cranes and perform rigging.
- Perform incoming and outgoing inspections.
- Properly fill out all paperwork.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience operating milling machines, lathes, boring mills, and grinders.
- Must have ability to work with extremely close tolerances (example: .0005” to .001”)
- and meet allotted timeframes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be physically able to safely operate all equipment, able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and capable of standing for long periods of time.
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm
- Must be willing and able to work overtime (including weekends).
Pay:
- $25-$35/hour based on experience
