We have an exciting opportunity for a Powder Coating Line Supervisor position in Newport News Virginia!Job Duties entail but are not limited to:
Troubleshoot problems with powder coating application
Work closely with company management, equipment manufacturers, and vendor representatives to troubleshoot processes, and to maximize performance of equipment and process
Follow safety program to ensure safe operation of entire finishing line, and help enforce safety program among the team
Monitor, record, and correct pretreatment chemical levels
Monitor and correct dry off and curing oven temperatures
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of Supervisory experience
Must have working knowledge of, conveyor system, pretreatment chemical wash system, dry off and curing oven operation gas with IR, efficient parts hanging techniques, proper powder spraying techniques
Must have excellent verbal and written skills, be able to keep production records
PhysicalRequirements:
Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
Corrected 20/20 vision
Able to stand, walk, sit, bend, twist, squat, reach and perform repetitive hand and finger movements
Work in ambient temperatures
Able to pass general, physical, and respirator medical evaluation
