We have an exciting opportunity for a local/Nonlocal Marine Electrician position in Newport News, VA with one of our Clients in the Ship Repair Industry.
Qualifications
- ACTIVE SECRET CLEARNCE required
- Must be able to read and interpret shipboard electrical installation drawings, wiring, tables, schematics and work packages.
- Industrial, Marine, or commercial nuclear experience
- Basic electrician meters and test instruments (volt-ohm meter, clamp-on ammeter, insulation resistance testers, mergers)
- Layoff and mount electrical equipment and wireways, stall cable penetrations in equipment, bulkheads, decks, cable installation, and cutin, and hook-ups
- Basic electrician hand tools (Pliers, wrenches, sockets, screwdrivers, connector crimping tools)
Hours:
- Must be open to all 3 shifts
Pay:
- $22-$27.31 Hour
- $135 Per Diem if you qualify
