We have a wonderful opportunity for a Manufacturing Operator position in Middletown, VA with a local manufacturer.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have High School Diploma or GED
- Must be able to work effectively with others
- Must have basic computer skills
- Knowledge of basic manufacturing operating procedures
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Will be responsible for running highly specialized equipment used to produce life science and laboratory products. This will include starting up machines, monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues, and performing minor adjustments to maintain efficiency and prevent downtime. Operators will follow detailed standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and avoid errors in production.
- Will be required to read work orders to batch records to ensure the correct raw materials, chemicals, or packaging components are prepared before production begins. Operators will be required to check lot numbers, quantities, and expiration dates to verify accuracy and compliance with good manufacturing practices that will help stage materials correctly to streamline production and prevent costly errors.
- Will document and maintain accurate production logs, batch records, and quality checklists that serve as official compliance documents. Quality checks may include visual inspections, measure product dimensions, or verifying weight, seals, and labeling.
- Will need to be adaptable and work in different environments, including controlled temperature rooms, cold storage rooms, and warm production zones depending on products being manufactured. Must follow all safety protocols and wear all required PPE to maintain product integrity and ensure worker safety.
HOURS:
- 1st shift is 7am to 3:30pm
- 2nd shift is 3pm to 11:30pm
- 3rd shift is 11pm to 7:30am
PAY:
- Pay starts at $19.50 and up to $22.43
