Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operating a sort machine in a fast-paced production-based environment
- Responsible for filling out safety checklists/production logs/ quality logs on time and with accurac
- Work in accordance with a quality system that is compliant with the clients standard and in compliance with SQF standard
- Have the ability to lift 55 lbs. consistently throughout the day
- Establish an effective line of communication with peers and management
- Perform a clean as you go method on production floor and good housekeeping practices
- Sort a minimum of 10,000 tier sheets per 8-hour shift
Skills and Knowledge preferred
- Knowledge of transport packaging and production-based warehouse environment
- Food safety knowledge
- Knowledge of 5s lean manufacturing
- Ability to operate sort machine at a high level thought out the day stay in sync with customer production levels
- Able to perform in a fast-paced work environment while multi-tasking
- Able to perform effective verbal communication between associates and customers
Job Requirements:
- At least 2 years previous warehouse experience in a fast-paced warehousing environment
- At least 2 years previous production-based work
- Ability to provide an effective line of communication
