JOB DETAILS:
- Responsible for setting up and operating conventional or Computer Numerical Control grinders and machinery
- Installation of their equipment and help maintain it by performing periodic tests and repairs
- Inspect parts visually before running machines and parts per process sheet
- Sets up gauge heads for high tolerance sizing
- Adjust machine to assure accuracy
- Dresses grinding wheels and change diamond when needed
- Deburrs completed parts
- Works with tight close tolerances which require digital micrometers and dial indicators
- Performs daily preventative maintenance
- Uses Vernier calipers, micrometers, and various gauges.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
- 2 years of experience operating CNC Machining equipment
- Experience with pneumatic and manual hand tools
- Basic Computer Skills (Microsoft Office, email)
- May travel domestically for training
SCHEDULE:
- 1st and 2nd Shift Available
- M-F, 7:00am – 3:30am
- M-F, 7:00pm - 3:30am
- will train on 1st shift, 7:00am-3:30pm until able to stand alone on 2nd shift (7:00pm-3:30am), usually about a month or more depending on how quickly they pick up)
PAY RANGE:
- starts at $20/hour + 7.5% shift differential for 2nd shift
