We have a great opportunity for a Machine Operator with a local manufacturing company in Ranson, WV.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 1 year of machine operator experience or similar production experience required.
- Ability to safely work around moving mechanical parts, electrical currents, vibrations, fumes, odors, dust, gases, chemicals, oils, and extreme temperatures.
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. unassisted or up to 120 lbs. with assistance.
- Strong attendance, reliability, and desire to grow with the company.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Will operate and troubleshoot packaging machinery.
- Will clean and maintain their assigned area.
- Will follow all safety guidelines.
- Will maintain and follow all quality standards/procedures to ensure product meets customer expectations.
- Will assist with additional tasks as assigned.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Position involves working around automated machinery and moving mechanical equipment.
- Employees may be exposed to dust, fumes, odors, chemicals, oils, vibrations, electrical equipment, and extreme temperatures.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting are required.
HOURS:
- Both Days (6AM-6PM) and Nights (6PM – 6AM)
- 2-2-3 Schedule
PAY:
- Starting pay: $21.00 per hour
- +$1.00 per hour night shift differential
