We have an exciting new opportunity for a Lead Machine Mechanic in Baltimore!
Qualifications:
- Must have valid driver’s license.
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of industrial, mechanical, or maintenance experience
- Must have basic understanding of electrical and PLC systems (for Mechanic and above).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of tools, machinery, machine belts, and maintenance practices.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. with assistance and perform physical tasks such as climbing, bending, and stooping.
- High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred.
Job Duties entail but are not limited to:
- Perform maintenance, repairs, and installations on machinery and equipment using hand and power tools, cranes, hoists, and measuring instruments.
- Diagnose mechanical problems using blueprints, manuals, and schematics.
- Assemble, align, and test machinery to ensure proper function.
- Conduct preventive maintenance, lubrication, and inspections on equipment and building systems.
- Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
- Assist in training junior mechanics and operations technicians.
- Operate forklifts, skid loaders, and man-lifts as required.
- Ensure all work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies.
- Travel or work extended hours as needed for emergency or off-site repairs.
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm
- Must be flexible to work OT
Pay:
- $32- $35/hr based on experience
