We have a wonderful opportunity for Inside Machinist Large equipment operator in Newport News, VA with one of our Clients in the Ship Repair Industry.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Experience with Horizontal Boring Mills, HBM’s will have travel that are in the range of X - 500”, Y - 250”, Z - 50” and W - 65” they will also have turn tables that are about 10’ square with a load capacity of 100 tons
- Vertical Turning Centers, VTC’s will have tables that are roughly 80” in diameter with a 20 ton table capacity. X total travel will be about 160” and Z will have 80” of travel.
- Gantry Mill experience
- Be able to look at blueprint drawings and set the best average
- Manuel Machine experience
- Experience with 10ft lathe machine
HOURS:
- 1st Shift-7am-3:30pm
- 2nd Shift-3:30pm-12:00Am
- 3rd Shift- 10:00pm-6:00am
Must be open to all shifts
PAY:
- $37.50-$45/Hr depending on location-Per Diem is offered for Non-local
