We have an exciting opportunity for an Inside Machinist position in Chesapeake Virginia in a CLIMATE CONTROLLED SHOP!
Job Duties entail but are not limited to:
- Manufacture and make repairs per instructions and/or drawings
- Operate all machine shop equipment
- Operate overhead cranes and perform rigging
- Perform incoming and outgoing inspections
- Properly fill out all paperwork
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience operating milling machines, lathes, boring mills, and grinders
- Must have ability to work with extremely close tolerances (example: .0005” to
- .001”) and meet allotted timeframes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be willing to work overtime
- Must be physically able to safely operate all equipment, able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and capable of standing for long periods of time.
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday 4pm-12:30am
- 20% Night differential available!
Pay:
- $20-$25/hour based on experience
