We have an exciting opportunity for an Painter position in Virginia Beach Virginia!
Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum of 3 years of automotive, industrial, or related painting experience preferred.
- Must have High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of paint types, mixing techniques, and application methods.
- Experience with spray painting equipment and tools.
- Ability to read work orders and color specifications.
- Knowledge of surface preparation and finishing techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to pass a Respirator Fit for Duty test.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Job Duties entail but are not limited to:
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, masking, and applying primers.
- Mix and match paints to achieve specified colors and finishes.
- Apply paint using spray guns, brushes, and rollers to metal, wood, and plastic.
- Inspect finished work for color accuracy, coverage, uniformity, and quality.
- Maintain painting equipment and a clean, organized work area.
- Safely handle paints, solvents, and other chemicals.
- Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Work with the production team to meet schedules and quality standards.
Schedule:
- Monday-Thursday: 6:30am-5:30pm
- Friday: 6:30am-3:30pm
- Must be flexible to work Saturdays as needed
Pay:
- $18-$25/hour based on experience
