We have a great opportunity for an Industrial Cleaner with a local manufacturing company in Kearneysville, WV.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous manufacturing or industrial experience preferred.
- Experience working around automated equipment is a plus.
- Ability to safely work in confined spaces and at heights.
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. unassisted.
- Comfortable working in a hot industrial manufacturing environment.
- Ability to safely operate or learn to operate forklifts, scissor lifts, pressure washers, and other industrial equipment.
- Dependable with a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Clean and maintain production equipment and assigned work areas.
- Clean furnace towers, conveyor belts, curing ovens, filter houses, ducts, and other production equipment.
- Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, industrial floor scrubbers, pressure washers, and other cleaning equipment.
- Use hand tools, shovels, scrapers, air hoses, and pneumatic tools to remove debris and maintain equipment.
- Assist with cleaning the raw material yard and waste areas as needed.
- Help receive raw material deliveries when necessary.
- Follow all company safety procedures and environmental regulations.
- Assist with additional cleaning and maintenance duties as assigned.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Fast-paced industrial manufacturing facility.
- Employees work around high-temperature equipment in a warm, dusty environment.
- Frequent standing, walking, climbing, bending, and lifting are required throughout the shift.
- Position requires working around heavy machinery while following strict safety procedures.
HOURS:
- Monday – Thursday: 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
