Our client in Chesapeake, Virginia is looking to fill an opening for a Heavy Equipment Operator.
Job Description:
- Must have at least three years of experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, backhoes and Excavators, bulldozer, skid steers, etc.
- Must have at least one year of experience working in a construction or terminal background
- Maintain equipment by conducting regular inspections and performing basic mechanical repairs as needed.
- Familiarity with construction site operations and best practices.
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and maintain machinery effectively.
- Knowledgeable in OSHA safety standards and skilled in communication and attention to detail.
Hours:
- Monday – Friday 8AM – 430PM
- Must be able to work 6am to 6pm and 6pm to 6am shift when the vessel comes in.
