We have an exciting new opportunity for a Grinding Machine Operator in a CLIMATE CONTOLLED SHOP in Newport News!
Qualifications:
- Must have understanding of basic math skills (adding/subtracting, decimals and fraction equivalents)
- Must demonstrate basic mechanical aptitude
- Must be able to be on feet for extended periods of time and lift upwards of 50 lbs
Job Duties entail but are not limited to:
- Ability to fill out paperwork in the correct manner (accurately).
- Attention to details
- Ability to record and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Operate machinery in a safe manner
- Maintain equipment and cleanliness of work area.
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm
- Must be flexible to work OT
Pay:
- $17-$19 per hour based on experience
