We have an exciting new opportunity for a General Laborer in Norfolk Virginia!
Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum of 1 year of Shipyard labor or Shipboard power tooling experience
- Must be able to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Must be able to lift, carry, and transport heavy materials and debris up to 75lbs.
- Prior experience with demolition, construction, or general labor preferred.
- Willingness to work in a shipyard environment, which may include confined spaces, heights, and outdoor conditions.
Job Duties entail but are not limited to:
- Safely remove and break apart concrete and related materials using hand tools and power tools.
- Transport and properly dispose of debris into designated dumpsters and waste containers.
- Prepare and prime work areas to ensure readiness for next phase of construction or repair.
- Assist skilled tradesmen and supervisors with general labor support as needed.

- $18 per hour based on experience
