We have a wonderful opportunity for Forklift Operator in Inwood, WV with the local manufacturer.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have previous experience operating a forklift
- Must be eligible to work weekends, holidays, and overtime
- Valid DL preferred
- Must be able to sit, stand, crouch, bend, kneel, walk, and reach for 8 plus hours
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Will use forklift to load/unload productions onto trucks/trailers according to shipping schedule and operate other equipment as needed.
- Will support production and shipping processes by using forklift and pallet jack to transfer products, pallets, boxes and other materials.
- Will use scanner to input info into systems
- Will monitor equipment for wear/damage, and perform routine maintenance.
- Will ensuring products are properly labeled and recorded
- Will monitor production material levels and pull stock as needed
- Will complete shipping manifests accurately
- Will disposing of scrap as needed
