Job Description
- Operate dual/quad forklift in fast-paced warehousing environment
- Establish and maintain a good relationship with customer and internal associates
- Operate forklift in a safe working manner that complies with OSHA standards
- Responsible for filling out safety checklists on time and with accuracy
- Can lift 55 lbs. consistently throughout the day
- Establish an effective line of communication with peers and management
- Perform a clean as you go method on production floor and good housekeeping practices
Skills and Knowledge preferred:
- Knowledge of transport packaging and production-based warehouse environment
- Food safety knowledge
- Knowledge of 5S lean manufacturing
- Ability to operate forklift in fast paced environment and obtain forklift certifications
- Able to perform in a fast-paced work environment while multi-tasking
- Able to perform effective verbal communication between associates and customers
Job Requirements:
- At least previous warehouse experience in a fast-paced warehousing environment
- At least 2 years previous forklift experience in a fast-paced warehousing environment
