Responsible for all activities associated with safely running the baler including operation, cleanup, and recommending improvements to operations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate the Baler safely following operating instructions
- Make good, neat bales.
- Minimum team goal is 7 bales per hour
- A bundle of cans would be between 30-40 pounds. A pallet jack of material is between 50-60 pounds.
- Maintain accurate bale reports.
- Forklift and/or pallet jack experience is required. A certification is preferred.
- Turn in maintenance work orders to supervision for needed repairs. Be proactive in the maintenance of equipment.
- Keep warehouse and working areas clean and tidy ->clean as you go
- Additional duties may be assigned by management.
