Integrity Staffing has an exciting job opportunity for an Electrical Supervisor in Savannah, Georgia!
Summary
  • Must be able to diagnose electrical problems in an efficient manner.
  • Explain what the best solution in would be repairing the problem to all involved. 
  • Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical and electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, on vessels using hand tools and power tools.
  • Lead a group of electricians and schedule them, explain work/problem solve. 
 Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure
  • compliance with classification society requirements.
  • Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate and correct a failure.
  • Construct and fabricate parts, repair or replace wiring, equipment, and fixtures using hand tools, power tools and specifications.
  • Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using testing devices such as multimeters, and megger testers to ensure compatibility and safety of system. 
  • Advise on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous.
  • Provide preliminary sketches and list materials.
  • Train and instruct workers to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
  • Provide information on job status and recommendations to improve quality and efficiency.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
 Qualifications:  Applicable marine experience or equivalent. 
  • Knowledge of Marine Electrical Trade:  Knowledge of A.C. Circuits, Single and Three Phase, up to 480 volts.
  • Knowledge of D.C. Circuits, Batteries, Alternators, Inverters
  • Control (Relay) Logic A.C. and D.C.
  • Basic Electronics, including diodes, LED’s, resistance, capacitance
  • Wiring skills; cable sizing and runs on cable tray, panel wiring to rotary switches, breakers, panel meters, current transformers, and use of ducting,
  • conduit as needed.
  • Trouble shooting:  Ability to diagnose and rectify many and varied types of equipment faults using boat drawings if there are any or logic deduction.
  • Ability to layout and fabricate panels and mounting brackets
 Pay: $40/hour
