Our client in Williamsburg, VA is seeking a Accounting Clerk with proven experience using QuickBooks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately entering financial data, managing records, and assisting with bookkeeping tasks to support our accounting and administrative departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter financial transactions and data into QuickBooks accurately and timely
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable entries
- Generate and maintain reports using QuickBooks
- Maintain organized and accurate records of all financial documents
- Support administrative tasks as needed (e.g., scanning, filing, reporting)
Requirements:
Proven experience with QuickBooks (2+ years preferred)
- Prior experience in bookkeeping or accounting
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree or higher in Accounting or related field is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and general computer skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Hours:
- Flexible; up to 20 hours per week
Pay:
- Up to $35.00/ hours depending on experience.
