Our client in Virginia Beach, VA is looking for a Custodian – Cleaner
Job Description:
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 10:30am-7:00pm
- Position Timeframe: 8 weeks, possibly longer depending on how long our FT employee is out.
- Candidate must have previous janitorial/cleaning experience
- Collects and dispose of garbage and recyclables in all restrooms, canteens and offices
- Cleans canteen tables, countertops, refrigerators and microwaves, Checks and refill paper towel dispensers, toilet tissues and sanitary napkin dispensers, Stores and reorder janitorial supplies, Sweeps and mop tile floors, Vacuums all carpet areas, Dusts all ledges, windowsills, and pictures
- Cleans all drinking fountains, Sanitizes all toilets and urinals, Reports all water leaks and lights which are not working, Cleans carpets as needed, Scrubs tile floors in shop bathrooms
- Cleans windows, Assists with the setup of meetings, classrooms, conferences and events
- Confirms all non-essential electrical appliances are turned off (e.g. coffee pots, fans, space heaters), Shuts off all lights not in use in designated areas.
- Required PPE: Steel Toed Safety Shoes (Not provided by Busch), Safety glasses (provided by Busch), Hearing protection (provided by Busch)
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday, 10:30am-7:00pm
