We have an exciting new opportunity for a Carpenter in Hampton Virginia!
Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum 3 years of experience in residential maintenance, with a focus on Carpentry
- Must have a valid driver’s license; reliable transportation strongly preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of safety practices and compliance with local building codes
Job Duties entail but are not limited to:
- Perform routine and emergency carpentry repairs and installations for residential properties.
- Handle tasks such as repairing doors, cabinets, trim, flooring, drywall, framing, and other structural components.
- Conduct inspections and identify issues requiring attention or repair.
- Collaborate with property managers and maintenance staff to complete work orders efficiently and on schedule.
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed, materials used, and time spent on each project.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards, building codes, and company procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with residents and team members.
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm
- Must be flexible to work weekends where needed
Pay:
- $20-$28 per hour based on experience
