We have an exciting opportunity for a Coatings Supervisor position in Portsmouth Virginia!
Job Duties entail but are not limited to:
- Primary contact on site for all Metal Paint technicians.
- Planning of on-site Metal Paint related work.
- Preparing documentation for work to carry out on Metal Paint related tasks.
- Reporting safety issues and working towards the highest safety standards.
- Ensuring all supervisory and administrative task undertakings agrees with the laws, rules, and existing policies of the company and client.
- Timely reporting to the Site manager on progress, challenges, non-conformities, concerns, risks, and helping to initiate and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Participating in toolbox meetings/safety meetings held by the customer.
- Optimizing project execution.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to obtain TWIC card
- Technical knowledge and practical experience in the wind industry.
- SGRE Spot repairs metal and epoxy safety.
- Blade B or equivalent.
- GWO and SGTT
- Medical Certificate (OGUK, Chester Step)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Team player with a proactive attitude
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Schedule:
- Monday-Saturday 7am-7pm
- Must be flexible on hours
Pay:
- $52,000-$66,560 annual salary based on experience
