The Cashier / Sales Floor Associate is responsible for providing excellent customer service while operating the cash register, processing transactions, assisting customers on the sales floor, and maintaining a clean and safe store environment. The role is primarily based on the retail sales floor, with occasional work in warehouse areas requiring awareness of surroundings and adherence to safety practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate cash register accurately and follow all established procedures for opening and closing tills.
- Maintain a clean checkout area and ensure front-of-store safety by removing hazards.
- Greet customers promptly, assist with purchases, and provide friendly service at all times.
- Issue receipts and assist with donation handling when needed.
- Restock merchandise and organize product areas to ensure a clear and appealing sales floor.
- Support weekly markdowns, product pulls, and additional assigned tasks to ensure smooth store operations.
Skills & Qualifications
- Prior retail, cashier, or related customer service experience preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems and electronic checkout equipment.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and basic math ability.
- Ability to multitask, work independently, and collaborate with team members.
- Professional appearance and ability to interact positively with a high volume of customers.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred (experience may be considered in place of education).
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
- Ability to stand, walk, reach, and bend for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift light merchandise as needed.
- Work takes place primarily on the sales floor with some activity in warehouse areas; safety awareness required.

- Must have open availability 7 days per week
- The store hours are Monday–Saturday, 9:00 AM–8:00 PM, and Sunday, 11:00 AM–5:00 PM.
- Shifts: 8:00am-2pm, 2pm-8pm, 3pm-8pm, 11am-5pm
