We have an exciting opportunity for Assembly Technician position in Chesapeake Virginia!
Qualifications:
- Must have never had felony
- 1 year of manufacturing or assembly experience
- High school diploma or GED required
- The ability to read and understand basic instructions, diagrams, and work orders
- Must have basic math skills
Job Duties entail but are not limited to:
- Perform bench and line assembly operations in accordance with work instructions and quality standards
- Assemble components by positioning parts in specified relationships and securing them using bolts, clips, screws, adhesives (e.g., Loctite), or other fastening methods
- Operate and tend assembly equipment such as presses and riveting machines
- Rotate between workstations and tasks based on production needs
- Inspect parts and completed assemblies to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and production guidelines
- Support team members and cross-functional departments as needed
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Schedule:
- Monday-Thursday 6am-5pm or
- Monday-Friday 7am-4pm
Pay:
- $18-$20/hour based on experience
