We have a wonderful opportunity for a Maintenance Technician position in Winchester, VA with a local manufacturer.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be able to use cutting torch safely
- Must have ability to weld with stick and wire feed welder
- Must be able to operate forklifts
- Must have knowledge of gearbox, motors, pneumatics, and hydraulics
- Must have experience in industrial maintenance
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Respond to breakdown calls throughout the plant for mechanical and electrical problems.
- Lead/assist with line changeovers
- Troubleshoot, adjust, and repair packaging equipment, production equipment, flour-conveying systems, work-in process, and warehouse equipment
- Detect faulty operations and defective materials
- Must be able to weld using all types of in-house welding equipment safety to complete hot work permit requirements
- Perform water-testing analysis per manufacture specifications
- Perform weekly fire inspections
HOURS:
- Overnight shift available. Shift starts at 6PM and ends at 6:30AM
- Is on a 2-2-3 schedule
PAY:
- Pay starts at $29 and up to $30.50
