We have a wonderful opportunity for eight Marine Electricians in Norfolk, VA with one of our Clients in the Ship Repair Industry.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 4+ years of Electrician experience
- Must be DBIDs eligible
- Proficient at reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Be experienced at planning, laying-out and installing equipment and cabling.
- Skilled at using VOMs, Meggers, Amp and Phase rotation meters, etc. for troubleshooting, testing, and circuit analysis.
- Be proficient as a Lead Electrician capable of guiding and training junior electricians with minimum supervision.
- Be proficient at troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical problems to component level.
- Experienced at accomplishing standard items 009-36 and 16’s on electrical/electronic equipment.
- Have or be capable of passing Connectorization School when training becomes available.
- Have a good working knowledge of standard items and epism.
HOURS:
- 1st and 2nd Shift Available. 1st starts at 6AM and 2nd starts at 3PM
- Could either work 8, 10 or 12 hours per shift depending on demand
PAY:
- Local pay is up to $27.31/hour
