Job Purpose
The Warehouse Associate supports warehouse operations through the safe and efficient movement, processing, and distribution of donated goods. This role ensures quality standards are met, the warehouse remains organized, and customers and donors receive excellent service.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with offloading trucks and transporting merchandise to sales areas
- Organize incoming donations including unloading, sorting, packing, and staging items
- Select goods suitable for resale based on established quality guidelines
- Provide courteous assistance to customers and donors with purchases and donations
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, safety, and organization
- Support cleaning and minor repair of donated items when needed
- Ensure proper security of property, employees, and inventory
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall store operations
Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to communicate effectively in-person, by phone, and in writing
- Ability to safely move a variety of merchandise through busy spaces
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; relevant experience considered
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
- Frequent standing, lifting (up to 100 lbs), bending, reaching, and moving merchandise
- Work performed both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Safe operation of warehouse tools such as dollies, ladders, and lifting equipment
- Must adhere to safety best practices at all times
Pay: $15-$16.00/hour
Schedule:
- Must have open availability 7 days per week
- The store hours are Monday–Saturday, 9:00 AM–8:00 PM, and Sunday, 11:00 AM–5:00 PM.
- Shifts: 8:00am-2pm, 2pm-8pm, 3pm-8pm, 11am-5pm
