We have an exciting opportunity for Senior Marine Service Technician in Hayes Virginia!
Job Duties entail but are not limited to:
- Responsible for cleaning, repairing, and maintaining all parts of boats/vessels
- Assess project needs
- Communicate with customers
- Submit parts and materials requests
- Prepare estimates for project labor and materials
- Operate equipment
- Maintain a clean work area and equipment
Qualifications:
- Certifications preferred but not required:
- ABYC Certifications - particularly Marine Systems, Electrical, Gas or Diesel Engines
- Diesel Engine certifications - Yanmar/Detroit/MTU/CAT/Cummins
- Marine Generators - Onan/Westerbeke/Koehler
- Outboard certifications - Yamaha/Mercury/Honda
- HVAC/Refrigeration
- Coatings and hull repair (fiberglass/gelcoat repairs) experience is a plus!
- Must have broad knowledge of marine systems
- Specialties can be diesel engines, electronics, marine air conditioning and refrigeration, or yacht systems- experience in all is favorable
- Must have own basic tools- specialty tools will be provided
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday 7am-3:30pm
- Optional 4- 10 hour shifts available during the summer
Pay:
- $60k-$75k per year based on experience plus bonus opportunities based on performance
