We have an exciting opportunity for a Powder Coating Line Supervisor position in Newport News Virginia!
Job Duties entail but are not limited to:
- Troubleshoot problems with powder coating application
- Work closely with company management, equipment manufacturers, and vendor representatives to troubleshoot processes, and to maximize performance of equipment and process
- Follow safety program to ensure safe operation of entire finishing line, and help enforce safety program among the team
- Monitor, record, and correct pretreatment chemical levels
- Monitor and correct dry off and curing oven temperatures
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of Supervisory experience
- Must have working knowledge of, conveyor system, pretreatment chemical wash system, dry off and curing oven operation gas with IR, efficient parts hanging techniques, proper powder spraying techniques
- Must have excellent verbal and written skills, be able to keep production records
Physical Requirements:
- Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
- Corrected 20/20 vision
- Able to stand, walk, sit, bend, twist, squat, reach and perform repetitive hand and finger movements
- Work in ambient temperatures
- Able to pass general, physical, and respirator medical evaluation
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday
- 12am-8:30am or 7am-3:30pm
Pay:
- $25-$30/hour based on experience
