We have an exciting new opportunity for a Firewatch in Kings Bay, Georgia!
Qualifications:
- Must have an active SECRET clearance or higher.
- Must have a High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must have a minimum 2 years of verifiable experience in a heavy industrial environment such as shipbuilding, marine operations, power plant construction, commercial construction, or bridge construction.
- Must have OSHA 10 certification.
Job Duties entail but are not limited to:
- Monitor hot work operations, including welding, cutting, and grinding, to ensure safety compliance.
- Serve as Tank Watch, overseeing personnel entering and exiting confined spaces.
- Enforce safety rules, regulations, and Life Saving Rules as trained.
- Use and maintain assigned PPE, safety devices, and emergency equipment (e.g., fire extinguishers, communication devices).
- Maintain accurate records, timesheets, and incident reports as required.
Schedule:
- Workdays: Monday through Saturday (6 days per week).
- Hours per day: Up to 11 hours, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
